Make sure you never forget that the people around you are always more important than the “next best thing” on your tablet or smart phone. Many of us get so caught up in our technology that we forget to notice the people around us. Never let those you love feel as if you love your phone or tablet more than them.

When we really appreciate what we have, we stop complaining. Being appreciative, like love, is a skill that is developed through practice.
“There were people who went to sleep last night, poor and rich and white and black, but they will never wake again.
And those dead folks would give anything at all for just five minutes of this weather or ten minutes of plowing.
So you watch yourself about complaining.
What you’re supposed to do when you don’t like a thing is change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it.” ― Maya Angelou
Many times we are on the right road and we stop just short of success. Make sure you never give up. Changing your strategy is not the same thing as quitting.
Contrary to what most people believe, success and failure are not in different directions. Success comes from good decisions. Good decisions often come from what we learn. And, we often learn more from our mistakes than from the success we experience.
There are no real mistakes in life. What we have are opportunities to learn. Rather than worry about mistakes, make sure you learn the proper life lessons.
If you believe and trust in God, then you should be able to live without fear.
Often we are afraid because we have not prepared. When we know we are prepared to handle anything fear goes away.
The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25 – 37) was kind. Make sure that you help others while on your journey. May be you are where you are because someone needs you to help them.
We all should stop making excuses and realize that we create our own opportunities.
