Approximately 1 million people attempt to take their own lives every year. Over 30,000 end their lives every year.

As we navigate through life, it can be easy to feel lost and uncertain of which direction to take. We may have a general idea of where we want to go, but without a clear understanding of where we currently stand, it can be difficult to make any real progress. This is why knowing where you are is one of the most important steps in finding your way.
When we don’t know where we are, we can feel like we’re wandering aimlessly, without a clear sense of purpose or direction. But when we take the time to assess our current situation, we gain a better understanding of our strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. This allows us to make more informed decisions about where we want to go and how we plan to get there.
Think of it like a map. If you have a map but cannot tell where you are on the map, it will be difficult for you to use it to find your way. Similarly, if we don’t take the time to understand our current position, it will be challenging to create a plan to reach our goals.
Knowing where you are also allows you to set realistic and achievable goals. Without this understanding, our goals may be too ambitious or unrealistic and can lead to disappointment and frustration. But with a clear understanding of our current situation, we can set goals that are challenging but also attainable.
In life, we may not always know exactly where we are going, but by understanding where we are currently, we can make more informed decisions about our path forward. So take the time to assess your current situation, understand your strengths and weaknesses, and set realistic goals. This will not only help you find your way but also give you a sense of direction and purpose.

This sign is really about faith. If you pray and believe, then you cannot continue to worry about the thing you prayed for. Praying and believing does not mean expecting God to do everything. Here is a great story that illustrates this point:
A man was trapped in his house during a flood. He began praying to God to rescue him. He had a vision in his head of God’s hand reaching down from heaven and lifting him to safety.
The water started to rise in his house. His neighbor urged him to leave and offered him a ride to safety. The man yelled back, “I am waiting for God to save me”. The neighbor drove off in his pick-up truck.
The man continued to pray and hold on to his vision. As the water began rising in his house, he had to climb up to the roof.
A boat came by with some people heading for safe ground. They yelled at the man to grab a rope they were ready to throw and take him to safety. He told them that he was waiting for God to save him. They shook their heads and moved on.
The man continued to pray, believing with all his heart that he would be saved by God. The flood waters continued to rise. A helicopter flew by and a voice came over a loudspeaker offering to lower a ladder and take him off the roof. The man waved the helicopter away, shouting back that he was waiting for God to save him. The helicopter left.
The flooding water came over the roof and caught him up and swept him away. He drowned.
When he reached heaven and asked, “God, Why did you not save me? I believed in you with all my heart. Why did you let me drown?”
God replied, “I sent you a pick-up truck, a boat and a helicopter and you refused it all. What else could I possibly do for you?!”

Contrary to what most people believe, success and failure are not in different directions. Success comes from good decisions. Good decisions often come from what we learn. And, we often learn more from our mistakes than from the success we experience.
There are no real mistakes in life. What we have are opportunities to learn. Rather than worry about mistakes, make sure you learn the proper life lessons.

It has been said that fear is FALSE EVIDENCE that APPEARS REAL. If you know that God is for you, who or what can be against you? Trust in God and connect to a purpose greater than yourself and you will see your fear slip away.
Fear is often a silent killer. It keeps us from ever trying. Fear can be like a tiny stake that keeps us from moving.
Remember the powerful elephant that refuses to move because of a tiny stake?
It was taught to not pull when it was young.
We are like the elephant in many ways. We are tied to stakes that keep us from moving forward. Often our stakes are fears that we learned when we were young. Often we inherit fears from others.
Many of us are tied to the same fears and illusionary limits. As we each get free from our limits, we are then equipped to help others. Please share your stories of success and how you have moved past the things that use to hold you.

Make sure you always follow your passion. No U-turns from your passion. Others will often try to turn you around. Make sure you never turn away from your dreams.
You rarely hear someone who was following their dreams telling you to turn away from yours. Often we get advice from people who aren’t happy telling us to turn around and turn away from those things that would truly make us happy.
